If you had put down just $10 at the start of the 2015 English Premier League season for Leicester City to win it, people would have called you a mad man. At odds of 2000-1, it was a real long shot, but it also would have won you $20,000!
Of course, it’s not advisable to put down such huge long shots unless you’re really lucky or you have some kind of device that predicts the future. Usually, people will bet on football in a different way. Perhaps about which team is going to win (as one of the most common), maybe even which player will score first, sometimes there’s even a chance to bet on the total amount of corners in a game.
The point remains, there are a lot of football bets to place, and if you’re someone who follows a league like the Premier League in England, La Liga, the Bundesliga or MLS in the USA, you’re likely to find some good markets with some really enjoyable betting.
